God of War Is The Latest Example of Sony’s Increasingly Nintendo Style First Party Game Strategy

Nintendo views itself as a game maker first and foremost. The company views the hardware that it makes as vessels specifically crafted to facilitate its vision and ambition for its games, and the entire reason the company makes its consoles is to sell its own games on its own terms, without being beholden to anyone else.
